Taiki Town, Hokkaido (Head Office: Taiki Town, Hiroo District, Hokkaido; Mayor: Masato Sakamori) is seeking naming rights partners to acquire facility naming rights for the facilities (Space Exchange Center and runway) of the commercial public spaceport “Hokkaido Spaceport (HOSPO).” The purpose of this initiative is to expand advertising opportunities for private businesses and secure financial resources for the improvement and expansion of HOSPO.

＜About Hokkaido Spaceport (HOSPO)＞
HOSPO, Asia’s first commercial public spaceport, began full-scale operations in Taiki Town, Hokkaido in April 2021. With the vision of creating a “Silicon Valley of the Space Industry” in Hokkaido, HOSPO is developing launch and testing facilities for rockets and spaceplanes intended for space travel and providing launch support services. As an infrastructure supporting global space business, HOSPO offers business opportunities, including regional revitalization and support for aerospace research, development, and business. By 2025, they are raising funds for the construction of two satellite rocket launch sites, utilizing the “Furusato” tax payment system (corporate and individual versions) and donations.
